2025 Maui Brewers Festival

BREWERY INFORMATION

Registration Fee

Due to Maui County Liquor Laws, we must receive a registration fee for alcohol.

  • If you are entering 2 Festival beers in the GA section, your registration fee is $400
  • If you are entering 3 Festival beers (2 in GA and 1 in VIP Rare Beer) your registration fee is $650

What Supplies MACC Provides You

  • Each brewery is provided with (2) 6’ tables with linens. Tables are set under white tents.
  • Banner with your logo
  • Beer Pourers
    • Due to Maui County Liquor Laws, MACC licensed staff must pour the beer.
  • Setup and teardown of your booth
  • CO2 and Ice
  • Marketing and publicity via multiple channels

What You Provide MACC (by April 1, 2025)

  •  Beer Descriptions- Provide an 8.5’ x 11’ size document (in email form) of your beer description for each style of beer you are pouring for use at the tent. This will assist our staff in representing your beer. You also have an option to work with your distributor to make the signage.
  • Logo (Due by April 1st)- High resolution, print-ready logo of your brewery must be received by email. This logo will be used on the banner we are creating for your tent space and other marketing promotional material.
  • Tap Handles- Please provide tap handles for each beer to be poured at the festival. You can mail the tap handles to MACC, work with your distributor on supplying them, or bring them with you as a brewery representative to the festival. 

Brewery Representatives & Tickets/Events

  • Each brewery participating in the festival will receive 2 VIP tickets. We highly anticipate that 2 brewery representatives from each brewery join us in Maui for the festival. If you are unable to attend, please contact Catherine Taylor.  
  • Each brewery participating in the festival will receive the opportunity to purchase in advance an additional VIP ticket at full price ($195 + fees). This is a limited-time offer and must be reserved before April 11, 2025, due to the very high demand for VIP tickets. The tickets will be released to the public if they are not reserved before this date. (All brewery reps and guests must be 21 years or older.)
  • Maui Brewers Festival tickets go on sale to the public on Monday April 7, 2025. All breweries have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets to the event during this time.
  • Each brewery will receive an invitation to the Brewers Welcome Party on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 4PM. The event is sponsored by the Maui Brewing Co., located at their Kihei Tasting Room (605 Lipoa Pkwy.).

Guidelines for Brewery Representatives

  • All brewery representatives and guests must be 21 years or older. No exceptions. Bring a valid I.D.
  • Brewery representatives, MACC staff or volunteers will not be permitted to drink while working in the tent or wearing a wristband, due to the Maui County Liquor Laws.
  • Brewery representatives are encouraged to sample responsibly during the festival, when NOT working in the tent or wearing a wristband. Please adhere to the 4-ounce pour rule and the number of tabs on your VIP wristband.
  • MACC will not be held responsible for loss, damage, or stolen goods.

Guidelines for Serving Beer

  • Due to Maui County Liquor Laws, MACC licensed staff must pour the beer for attendees. You will not be able to pour your own beer for attendees.
  • Beer shall be served from behind the tables in the tent space.
  • Each serving is a 4-ounce pour.
  • Attendees will only be given the allocated amount of pours related to the number of tabs on their Maui Brewers Festival wristband.
    • VIP wristband= 10 pours
    • GA wristband = 8 pours
  • Additional scrip can be purchased for $3/ pour.

Ticket Information for the Event:

  • VIP Rare Beer Tasting:
    • 2:00-3:30 PM
    • $195 ( + applicable fees)
    • Includes early entry, ten 4 oz. beer tastings, access to Rare VIP beer, early access to FREE food vendors, commemorative beer glass, beer lanyard, live music, and special discount on event t-shirt.
  • General Admission:
    • 3:30-7:00PM
    • $85 ( + applicable fees)
    • Includes eight 4 oz. beer tastings, commemorative beer glass, access to FREE food vendors, live music.
  • Designated Driver
    • VIP Rare Beer 2:00-3:30PM
      • $120 ( + applicable fees)
    • GA 3:30-7:00PM
      • $65 ( + applicable fees)
    • Includes Festival Root Beer, Kombucha, access to FREE food vendors, and live music.  
  • Scrip
    • Ticket holders (excluding Designated Driver) may purchase an additional 4 oz. pours for $3 each. One scrip = One 4 oz. pour.   
  • Tickets go on sale: Monday April 7, 2025
    • Tickets can be purchased through the MACC Box Office at 808-242-7469, or online at www.mauiarts.org.

FESTIVAL JOCKEY BOXES & TAP HANDLES_

Breweries represented by distributors present on island are responsible for supplying their own jockey boxes, Co2, and tap handles, through their distributors, for the festival.

Please contact your Hawaiian distributor about your jockey box needs. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Catherine Taylor at Catherine@MauiArts.org

If you do NOT have Hawaii distribution and are not able to ship your own jockey box, please email Catherine@MauiArts.org as soon as possible so that we can reserve one for you.  



Festival Beer
New this year! To curate an outstanding beer lineup for Brew Fest 2025, all beers must go through an approval process.

Beer Approval Process

  • Goal: Help us showcase the best brews at Brew Fest 2025!
  • Submission Deadline: Breweries must submit their beer selections by April 1st.
  • Evaluation Criteria: Beers will be reviewed for diversity, style, and uniqueness.
  • Approval Confirmation: Approved selections will be announced by April 11th.
  • Next Steps: After your registration is confirmed, you’ll receive instructions to provide detailed information about each beer submitted for approval.

GA Beer

  • (1)15.5G keg per beer; 50L/13.2g are acceptable. 2 kegs in total, unless otherwise contacted by MACC.
  • Only Kegs!

VIP Beer

  • (2) Sixtels of one type of VIP RARE Beer
  • Only Kegs!

Invoice for Festival Beer

MACC will purchase the Festival beer based on the invoice received! 

After the event you may invoice Maui Arts & Cultural Center for up to, but NOT EXCEEDING, $400 (if you brought 2 beers), or $650 (if you brought 3 beers). Any amount billed over $400 (if you brought 2 beers), or $650 (if you brought 3 beers) will be considered a donation and a charitable tax deduction letter will be given for the amount of the difference.
